Common questions.

Once events are scheduled in your area, the homepage groups them by week. We're building toward V1 launch in California, currently onboarding hosts and contributors.

Attendees pay a 4% service fee on ticketed events. When contributors are paid, they keep 92% of what they earn — the 8% supplier fee funds platform operations. Free RSVPs with no contributor payouts incur no fees. Payment processing is on us.

Yes. Free RSVP events with no paid contributors carry no fees at all — no buyer fee, no supplier fee, no platform cut. The site is free for community gatherings.

Yes. Each host sets their own refund policy, posted on the event listing. If a host cancels, you receive a full refund automatically.

It depends entirely on the host. The listing tells you what to expect, what's included, and what to bring.

You can browse the marketplace without an account. To RSVP, you'll need a free member account so the host knows who's coming.

Any member can host. Individual members typically host small, non-commercial gatherings. Professional and Business members can host commercial events with up to eighty guests.

Ticket sales settle to your linked account after a short hold for fraud and chargebacks, minus the 8% supplier fee (buyers separately pay a 4% service fee at checkout). Payment processing is on us.

Discovery, RSVPs and tickets, payment processing, settlement to your account, and 1099-K filing for US hosts above the federal threshold.

Yes. There's no cap on how many events you can host. Founding Member hosts get early access to bundled-event tools.

Founding Members are the first members to join in their area before the local community reaches critical mass. The threshold is sized per geo — neighborhood, city, or county, depending on density — and split per category (attendees, spaces, entertainment, culinary, services), so every side of the marketplace fills at its own pace. Founding Members earn a permanent badge, a points bonus, and early access to new features.

Points are earned through participation: signup, profile completion, referrals, and event attendance. Points are not a cryptocurrency, not transferable for cash, and not securities.

Once a category's threshold is reached in your geo, those founding-member slots close permanently. New members in that geo and category join as standard members. Founding slots stay open in other geos and other categories until each one fills.

Density matters more than total signups. A small, active community in one neighborhood is worth more than a thin national footprint. Each area's threshold is sized for what makes the local marketplace self-sustaining: large enough for a steady event calendar, small enough that the points economy and community feedback stay personal.
