Local events,
created by your community.

XLNT Events is a marketplace for local, smaller-scale events in traditional and non-traditional spaces, created by you and other members for your community.

01 · MOTIVATION

The case for small.

The most memorable nights I've spent with other people have almost always been small ones. A long table of friends in the back room of a local restaurant. A backyard concert under string lights. A chef cooking dinner for twelve in a converted garage. A poetry reading on a rooftop where the host knew everyone's name.

Evenings like these aren't only about entertainment. When a community comes together to enjoy itself, that same night is also how a neighbor's small business stays open, a working professional finds steady local work, and someone just getting started gets a real chance to earn.

XLNT Events is built to make these nights easier to put on, easier to find, and sustainable for the people who make them happen, one county at a time. The deeper goal is a community where neighbors know each other and want each other to do well.

02 · HOW IT WORKS

How the marketplace works.

Attendees

Events you'll talk about

Local events, gathered by neighbors. Backyard concerts, chef dinners, winery tastings, gallery readings, rooftop sessions. Small enough that the host knows your name.

Before you back a night

  • Real demand, counted first

Guests back a seat while a night is taking shape. When the backing reaches the threshold its host set, the host can launch it. Each backer is charged only when it launches.

  • Who is hosting

We confirm every host's email address with a one-time code.

Hosts

Bring a gathering to life

Host at your own place or partner with a space. Make it a private gathering, or sell tickets to the wider community — or float an idea that's still taking shape, and let neighbors signal what they'd show up for. We handle invitations, payments, and contributor coordination.

Contributors

Earn doing what you do

Spaces, musicians, chefs, photographers, videographers, sound and lighting, equipment rentals, planners. List what you offer, set your terms, get paid promptly. A track record that travels with you.

  • MONEY

Hosts and contributors negotiate directly. After a short hold for fraud and chargebacks, money splits the way they agreed. Attendees pay a 4% service fee on ticketed events; contributors keep 92% of what they earn after the 8% supplier fee. Free RSVPs with no contributor payouts incur no fees. Payment processing is on us.

  • REPUTATION

Reviews are closed-loop. Only the people who were actually at an event can rate each other. A track record of real reviews and repeat bookings travels with each contributor.

  • PRIVACY

Every member is real — no anonymous accounts. What you share is your call: a screen name, your county, your offerings. Email, phone, and date of birth never appear on profiles.

  • PROMISES

No advertising. No selling member data. The marketplace gets more useful the denser it gets, so we focus on local density rather than total signups.
